Is It Trash Day? Lost in Holiday Time Limbo.

I have only the vaguest concept of what day it is.  It is that weird time between Christmas and New Year’s Day when you already don’t have any sense of normalcy or schedule.  Add on top of that not having a traditional work schedule as a retiree who now works freelance and Cathie having some holiday leave as well and I have no markers to help me discern what day it is.  The only thing that helped me halfway figure out today was that I saw neighbors sitting out their trash.  Trash is usually set out on Thursdays in our neighborhood, but I have a vague recollection of a City of Maysville social media post saying trash would run a day late, so I think it is Friday which means it is the weekend, YIPPEE.
